Matt's Custom Rock Sliders MATT'S CUSTOM FABRICATIONIf you own a Pathfinder, you probably know how hard to it is to find any accessories. The Factory Step bars that come from Nissan are nice looking, but they are your own worst enemy on a trail with rocks or other obstacles. The factory steps easily push up into your rocker panels, causing nasty dents. If you remove the step bars, you eliminate that risk, but still do nothing to protect your rig from rocks, stumps, etc. on the trails. What you need are ROCK SLIDERS. Rock Sliders are similar to step bars, only they are designed to withstand against most barriers you might hit on a typical trail run. Where can you buy them? Not many places. In fact, they are nearly IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND for any Nissan Pathfinder for some reason. That is, until now... Matt Albertson of Onalaska, WA is the person to see. Matt has been affiliated with NPORA since our beginning and he is an artist of metal fabrication. When we first began to discuss the idea with Matt, he asked if we had a specific design in mind. After a lengthy search on the internet, we found the following design on another vehicle and asked if he could make one like it?
Here is the photo we sent to him as an example of what we basically wanted.
After a short time, this is the slider that Matt fashioned for the Nissan Pathfinder... Really nice!
Matt is truly an artist! He can build these custom sliders for your Pathfinder or other rig for only $189. Shipping is available at the buyers cost. A primer finish is provided at no additional charge. Paint or undercoat finish is available for an additional $15. Professional powder coating is also available at additional $100 charge. These sliders can be mounted with bolts, or welded directly to your frame. They are strong enough to jack up the side of your vehicle with a High Lift jack. Their most important feature is to be able to protect your doors and lower panels against trail damage, while making your Pathfinder look sharp at the same time. $189 is a bargain... Check around on the Web and you will agree. For more information, or to order a set for yourself, email Matt today at MATT'S CUSTOM FABRICATION.
