* 2003 NorthWest 4X4 Summer Jamboree / August 1, 2, 3

August 1-3 there will be a 4X4 Jamboree This event will be open for import SUVs & trucks. Trails will include the Naches, and various ones around the forest roads 70 & 72.

If you are going to attend, please look for the post on YotaTech's forum in the Off Road & Event Planning section.

People attending should be well prepared with the basic 4WD accessories to carry with them such as a snatch strap, shovel, water, and a few tools. Also a CB radio is not an option, everyone should have one. If you don't have one, you will not be able to hear what is going on ahead of you, or if someone is in need of help. A good channel to run is Channel 4 Click here to find out why: http://4wheeldrive.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.jeepmadness.com%2Fcbstandard.htm

Accommodations: There is plenty of camping available, and we will try and get a centralized spot which will be announced later also. Also up highway 410 are tow nice campgrounds named The Dalles, and Silver Springs. They have water and outhouses available, but no showers.

Lodging is also available in the town of Greenwater, and further up the highway near Crystal Mountain Boulevard is Alta Crystal Resorts.

For supplies, Greenwater has a few stores and always stocked with ice for camping season. There is also a Chevron station in town for gas.

More info will be added as we get nearer to the dates.

Remember to R.S.V.P. So they can get a head count of how many people and vehicles will be attending, R.S.V.P. Here:http://www.wattora.com/rsvp.asp?EventID=47

** Hope we can get a good count of Nissans that will be attending this event, all import 4X4's are welcome, and for those new to the sport there will be a 4x4 101 class before the runs. From what I'm hearing the first nite is, everyone getting camp ready and getting to meet one another, then I think the runs are on Saturday, I know they have alot planned out so don't miss out!!

Thanks and Hope to see ya out there. L.A.
